Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 can 15 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ditalini pasta and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics:

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, cooking until softened and fragrant (2-3 minutes).

Add Tomatoes and Broth:

  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes and broth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Combine and Simmer:

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat the pasta with sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes to meld flavors.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Top with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
