Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 3 –4 oz cold-smoked salmon lox, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers drained and chopped
  • 2 tbsp red onion finely minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Soften cream cheese at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Fold in chopped smoked salmon.
  4. Stir in dill, capers, red onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with bagels, crackers, cucumber, or crostini.

Notes

  • For a dip consistency, add 2–3 tbsp sour cream.
  • Can be made 1 day ahead — flavor improves overnight.
  • Stores in an airtight container for up to 4–5 days.
  • Do not freeze.
