Method
- Soften cream cheese at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in chopped smoked salmon.
- Stir in dill, capers, red onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with bagels, crackers, cucumber, or crostini.
Notes
- For a dip consistency, add 2–3 tbsp sour cream.
- Can be made 1 day ahead — flavor improves overnight.
- Stores in an airtight container for up to 4–5 days.
