Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F or 175°C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and almond extract and mix well.
- In another bowl mix flour baking powder and salt.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients to form dough.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheet.
- Flatten slightly and top with sliced almonds.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
- Allow cookies to cool before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for best texture.
Do not overbake to keep cookies soft inside.
